Brian McDermott-
Brian began his career in January of 2000 at Electra Art Tattoo, Corpus Christi’s oldest and most successful tattoo shop. After a traditional apprenticeship under Bruce Edwards, Brian continued to work with the Electra Art / Axis Tattoo family for the next 23 years.
With a vision to create and build a beautiful environment for Tattooing and the fine arts in the northwest Corpus Christi / 5 Points area, Brian will continue the tradition of strong, beautiful tattoos and art in his new home, La Promesa Tattoo.
Jonathan Gutierrez-
Jonathan is originally a self taught tattooer, who worked privately off and on for 15 years, before beginning a traditional apprenticeship under Brian at La Promesa Tattoo. After a year of re-learning the craft, he tattoos full time and offers a variety of styles, but focuses his passion towards American traditional, vintage flash and Borneo inspired tribal.
Heidi Ceniceros -
Heidi began her career in 2009 in Corpus Christi, Texas, honing her skills with traditional Americana tattoos. However, she quickly became a diverse custom artist. Her personal style has been described as a cross between realism and new school with her portfolio showcasing graffiti, fine line, illustrative and custom script. She is definitely comfortable in color and black and grey tattoos.
